I had diminished hearing for last several years which was affecting my life seriously. Being actively involved in so many societies and charitable institutions I slowly realised that I could not concentrate during meetings for the simple reason that I could not follow what was being discussed. I found it embarrassing to ask members to keep on repeating so I found an easy way out; I stopped taking active interest. This made me depressed.

A hearing test was done in Nairobi and a hearing aid was suggested to me. Having seen my mother and father struggling with their hearing aids which used to make whistling noises and giving them a lot of trouble, I decided to avoid this option for as long as I can.

My predicament went on increasing but fortunately I met you a couple of months back. You explained me that the newer hearing aids were much more efficient and user friendly. You convinced me that I should have a trial.

You did my hearing test and you were very professional and friendly. You answered each of my questions to my satisfaction and gave me all the necessary information about the hearing test and the choice of hearing aids.

You prescribed me a hearing aid for each ear and offered me a free trial for one month. When the hearing aids were ready you fitted them so well that I felt a different person and started enjoying talking to people, listening to music and watching TV.

I can now take part in family conversations around the table. I used to miss so much of the conversation before… I had started to just not bother trying to communicate. I now go to social functions and am able to enjoy parties. Last Saturday my wife was really surprised to see me take to the dance floor after so long.

I had been so nervous about how I would look wearing a hearing aid. The cosmetics of what you have given me are so good.
